Conditions Governing Access

This collection is open for research, with the exception of the "Student Records" series. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), the materials in this series are considered student records and consequently are restricted from access for 72 years after their creation date or until the verified death of the individual.

Note: In compliance with University Policy 6.1 if the user is affiliated with a media organization, or if the intended outcome for archival work is create a product that wil be featured by the media, then the user should first contact ONU's Communication and Marketing Office to coordinate their archival research/media request.

Ohio Northern University maintains copyright for institutional records in accordance with U.S. copyright law. Collections may contain third-party materials for which copyright is not help. Users are responsible for determining the appropriate use and reuse of materials.

The Ohio Northern University Office of the Registrar was formed in order to create and maintain accurate records of the academic progress and accomplishments of Ohio Northern students.
