Administrative History
The Department of Pharmacy was formed at ONU in 1885 under the leadership of Charles Ashbrook. As the pharmacy program grew, the department became the College of Pharmacy in 1902. In 1966 a new pharmacy building (now the James D. Robertson and Thomas J. Evans Pharmacy Building) was opened, and the structure was expanded in 2006. Meeting changing academic standards, the College introduced the Doctor of Pharmacy program for the 1991-1992 academic year.

Th College of Pharmacy is one of the oldest professional colleges at Ohio Northern University, first forming as a department in 1885 and later being designated as the College of Pharmacy in 1902. The Raabe College of Pharmacy Records includes materials from the 1950s onwards, and focus on the college's strategic direction and the marketing of the college.
